1. Overview

Protein Core is provided by the controller identified above ("we", "us", or "our"). It is an iPhone app for tracking daily protein intake. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Protein Core is local-first. It has no Protein Core account, custom backend, advertising, or cloud-sync service in version 1.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

Protein Core stores information you enter locally on your device. This may include:

Protein entries, amounts, dates, and optional labels
Quick-add presets
Daily protein goals and progress history
Body weight, weight unit, selected goal, and a calculated protein recommendation
App preferences such as onboarding completion and haptics

This information is used to provide tracking, history, recommendation, and widget features. We do not operate an account system or backend for this data, and the app does not transmit it to us.

Widgets use an Apple App Group to read a limited copy of progress, preset, and cached purchase-status data on the same device. This is local device communication, not an upload to us.

3. Purchases and Apple

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple may process purchase, account, device, and transaction information under Apple's own privacy terms.
